Position Description

The Operations Specialist, in collaboration with the Director of Operations, Regional Directors, and other field management, model "The ImmediaDent Way" within a given territory; they will do so by providing onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring to new and existing employees, conducting practice assessments to identify areas of improvement, and assisting in the roll-out of new practices, programs, and initiatives. This results oriented individual will help the practices to improve patient experience, increase practice productivity, and reduce turnover.

Candidates for this role should possess business and financial acumen and be willing to work 12 hour shifts and travel up to 100% of the time.

Essential Functions
  • Train employees in all facets of "The ImmediaDent Way" by providing coaching and in-practice modeling and mentoring of items such as company protocol, excellent customer service, successful treatment plan presentation, successful charting standards, etc.
  • Responsible for assisting the Area Manager in conducting employee on-boarding and providing follow-up training, as necessary, to ensure application of new skills and company strategies
  • Work closely with Lead Patient Coordinators and Patient Coordinators to maximize treatment plan acceptance by patients and accuracy in entry of information into system
  • Be a subject matter expert in company protocol; ensuring appropriate operations for quality patient care and profitability
  • Actively participate in system enhancements / transitions as needed to ensure operational success and accuracy
  • Work with management staff in following up on staff / team progress in implementing corrective / improvement plans
  • Act as back up to department managers to support system operational transition issues and training / mentoring periods
  • Identify and analyze repeat problem areas and coordinate education with management
  • Communicate to management ways to improve processes and productivity of company
  • Function as an Area Manager or Lead Patient Coordinator when a vacancy exists

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of related supervisory /management and training experience
  • Must be a business leader focused on financial success of the business
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written communication
  • Must possess business and financial acumen, people motivation, coaching, training and public relations skills
  • Strong operational skill set combined with analytical acumen
  • Ability to work a 12 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
