Position Description

The Recruiting Assistant handles all Recruiting related administrative tasks for the Human Resources department such as identifying sites for job postings and posting openings, administering pre-employment assessments, reference checks and the working interview process. The incumbent will have 0-2 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resources. A high school diploma is required; Bachelors Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Identify media and internet sites and post job openings for the Recruiting staff and ensure such postings are updated regularly
  • Administer pre-employment testing and assessments, reference checks and as well as the application process
  • Source and schedule interviews for Recruiters
  • Administer the Working Interview/Work Extension process with vendor
  • Perform any other administrative duties or complete HR related projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • 0-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources/Recruiting
  • Intermediate experience in MS office suites
  • Outstanding customer service skills and positive attitude
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be creative and driven with a strong desire to succeed
